Exercising in the Cold
冷天仍是運動天
Don't let cold weather slow you down
by Simon Stopps
A combination of misconceptions and bad experiences often makes people wary of exercising in the cold. Some fitness buffs wear too much clothing and find they feel uncomfortably sweaty as their workout progresses. Others wear too little and end up feeling cold and stiff before they even begin.
Fortunately, either of these difficulties is easily overcome with a little thought and preparation. Beginning your exercise routine inside with a brisk warm-up – including stretching – before you head outside makes it easier for your body to adjust to the temperature.
