Priceless(part two)

Tautou's Irène should by all accounts be a heartless, cruel ice queen, and for most of the movie she is. Calculating, she targets the men with the obvious money and thus starts talking to Jean (Gad Elmaleh) when he falls asleep on the couch of the hotel bar he is tending. Irene is intrigued, not by his boyish good looks and his babbling but endearing demeanour, but because of the expensive cigars he boasts about seem to hint at wealth. One thing leads to another and the two have a one night stand, repeated a year later when she returns again for her birthday...
